January 2018

Dialysis centers in Fritzlar, Homberg and Schwalmstadt were integrated in the new MVZ DaVita Schwalm-Eder GmbH.

October 2017

The outpatient healthcare center MVZ DaVita Rhein-Ahr GmbH is founded, with centres in Ahrweiler, Remagen and Adenau.

April 2017

With the CardioCentrum Düsseldorf DaVita takes over a cardiology practice for the first time worldwide, and is now also involved in this specialty.

DaVita grows through dialysis centers in Viersen and Iserlohn and a cardiological-nephrological practice in Geilenkirchen.

January 2017

Two dialysis centers in Bad Düben and Torgau join DaVita.

October 2016

DaVita takes over further dialysis centers in Berlin, Kempen, Willich and Mönchengladbach.

September 2016

The dialysis center in Aurich expands the DaVita family in East Frisia.

DaVita continues to grow with new dialysis centers in Duisburg, Dormagen and Elsterland.

Outpatient healthcare center MVZ DaVita Rhein-Ruhr GmbH opens another dialysis center in Jacobistrasse in Düsseldorf.

Extracorp AG officially changes its name to DaVita Deutschland AG. Hamburg’s DaVita headquarters moves to Mittelweg 110 B.

MVZ DaVita Rhein-Ruhr GmbH grows, adding one ambulance and one dialysis center in Neuss to its repertoire.

DaVita Süd-Niedersachsen GmbH is founded and integrates outpatient healthcare centers and dialysis centers in Hann. Münden, Bad Münder, Stadthagen, and Hanover. The nephrology education institute is also established in Hann. Münden for DaVita staff and external employees.

June 2015

DaVita begins providing care in Alzey, expanding our presence to southwestern Germany.

December 2014

The DaVita family in Germany continues to grow, now supporting and treating over 1,000 patients with chronic kidney disease.

DaVita begins providing care at two dialysis centers in Emden and Norden, which specialize in travel dialysis, among other traditional treatments.

The dialysis center at the SRH Waldklinikum in Gera joins DaVita.

DaVita’s Hamburg headquarters moves to Mittelweg 110 C.

DaVita begins providing care at the outpatient healthcare center MVZ am Lichtbogen in Essen, incorporating it in DaVita Rhein-Ruhr GmbH.

One of Germany’s most renowned nephrologists, Prof. Dr. Werner Kleophas, joins the DaVita team as Chief Medical Officer and brings with him six centers that he was overseeing. Outpatient healthcare center MVZ DaVita Karlstraße GmbH is founded in Düsseldorf, combining the locations at Bismarkstrasse, am Dominikus Hospital, Holthausen, Gerresheim, am Augusta Hospital, and Ratingen. The company is later renamed MVZ DaVita Rhein-Ruhr GmbH.

DaVita cooperating centers are established in Dresden and Freital.

The first German dialysis centers join the DaVita family: Salzgitter and Seesen.

DaVita Kidney Care incorporates Extracorp AG and founds the German DaVita headquarters in Hamburg.
